Dear Colleagues:
Recently there have been instances where some religious communities in different countries are trying to prevent Jewish women from walking on certain streets in their neighborhoods.
Regardless of where this sort of action occurs, it must be viewed as a serious intrusion into women’s rights. In my opinion this is NOT a political or religious issue.

In short, instances where religious communities, no matter where they may exist, seek to limit the rights of women require that we speak out. It is a matter of women’s rights…of human rights. And ICJW cannot remain silent.
Ukratko, u slučajevima gdje religijske zajednice , bez obzira gdje se nalazile, ograničavaju prava žena, zahtjeva se naš odgovor. To je pitanje prava žena i ljudskih prava i ICJW ne može ostati "tiho", bez da reagira.
