S triving For the Highest: From Ideals to Reality in Israel

Jewish wisdom and women’s perspectives creating new possibilities.

This seminar will explore the dynamic and fertile interaction between Judaism and women’s increasing contributions and perspectives, through lectures and workshops given by expert speakers, discussions and tours. Witness the ways in which Israel is a society in transformation, with many aspects shaped by the highest Judaic ideals.

Subjects will include:

·         The Interaction of Jewish Wisdom and Women’s Perspectives - Creating New Possibilities for Living

·         Women & the Peace Process

·         Integrating Refugees & Migrants

·         Stopping Trafficking & Prostitution

·         Protecting Children at Risk

·         Environmental Innovations

·         Defending Israel at the UN

·         Countering the BDS Movement

The program will be centred in Tel Aviv on Monday May 15 and Wednesday May 17, 2017, with a bus trip to Haifa on Tuesday May 16. The opening event will take place on Sunday evening May 14 at 5.30 pm, and the closing event – the Gala Dinner – will take place on Wednesday May 17.
