1. DAYS OF ISRAELI CUISINE– March 2012
In cooperation with a hotel in Zagreb the Embassy will organize presentation of Israeli cuisine. For the opening of this event we will organize musical performance of Amir Gwirtzman.
2. Orna Porat Theatre: SOMETHING WONDERFUL IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN
At the NAJ, NAJ, NAJ FESTIVAL – April 1, 2012 - Theatre Žar ptica
The Orna Porat Theater for Children and Youth is the most senior repertoire theater for the young audience. .
“Something wonderful is about to happen" won at the International Children's Theatre Festival in Haifa, Israel 2010.
3. ACADEMIC SEMINAR, April 26, 2012
Israel: The Idea of a Nation State and its Realities
The Embassy will organize a Seminar about the history of Israel and present-day issues and invite high-school teachers, some people from political life and diplomats to attend the Seminar
4. JERUSALEM QUARTET – Yom Hatzmaut Event – May 2012
Four superb musicians playing much in the Russian/central European tradition of fullblooded beauty of tone, they're well matched and evidently comfortable together in a close-knit ensemble.
The Jerusalem Quartet continues to be both regular and popular visitors to major.
5. BATSHEVA AT DANCE WEEK FESTIVAL – June 2012
Annual cooperation with the Dance Week Festival
Sadeh 21, Ohad Naharin’s new piece, which had its world
premiere at the Israel Festival in Jerusalem, is a liberating
experience of contradictory feelings revealing an endless array
of associations.
6. ISRAEL MAGIC IN ZADAR – July 2012
Our plan is to organize 7 days of cultural events which will include musical
performances, dance, street – shows, film screenings, art exhibitions and a food presentation.

Contemporary dance performance: RENANA RAZ - OVPerformance: MAYUMANA
7. GESHER THEATRE – October 2012 YAKISH AND POOPCHEAn adaptation of Hanoch Levin In cooperation with the Zagreb Youth Theatre
8. FILM WEEK – November 2012
As the Croatian audience has shown great interest in the Israeli Film Week 2011, we have decided to increase the number of films which will be presented in 2012 and to maintain the same high quality of releases. We have already selected 3 movies for this year.
9. PULA BOOK FAIR – December 2012
Cooperation between the Embassy and the Pula Book Fair has become traditional and every year there are Israeli writers present at the book fair. For this year we are planning to invite Israeli novelists of Middle East origin and writing.
Also, we would like to invite an Israeli Band which will perform ethnic Jewish Middle East music.10. FILM CLUB
The Embassy established a film club which is able to lend Israeli films and necessary technical equipment to various institutions – schools, universities, libraries, and culture clubs etc.
For the moment we are cooperating with the Jewish community Zagreb, Croatian – Israeli Friendship Association, Osijek University, and City of Novalja etc.
