Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiaboa visits Auschwitz

Leading a Chinese delegation, Prime Minister Wen Jiaboa walked through the camp's notorious "Arbeit macht frei" (Work will set you free) gate before visiting the remainder of the site including its gas chambers and crematoria.
Premijer Wen Jiaboa, na čelu kineske delegacije prošao je kroz poznati ulaz u logor " Arbeit macht frei" prije posjete ostalog mjesta uključujući njegove gasne komore i krematorij.
OSWIECIM (AFP)---Chinese Premier Wen Jiaboa visited Nazi Germany's Auschwitz death camp in Oswiecim, southern Poland, Friday to honour six million Jews killed during the Holocaust.
Wen place a floral wreath in China's national colours of red and yellow at the foot of the infamous "wall of death" at the World War II-era camp, an enduring symbol of the genocide of European Jews.
Leading a Chinese delegation, Wen walked through the camp's notorious "Arbeit macht frei" (Work will set you free) gate before visiting the remainder of the site including its gas chambers and crematoria.
"The tragedy of Auschwitz, is the tragedy of the entire human race," Wen said following the visit.
"Tragedija u Auschwitzu je tragedija cijele ljudske rase" rekao je Wen nakon posjete. "Ova nas povijest nas uči da se moramo suprostaviti ratu, diksriminaciji i zločinu, da trebamo zaštiti slobodu, sigurnost, i ljudsko dostojanstvo"...
Posljednji dan trodnevne posjete Poljskoj bio je pretežno posvećen razvoju kineske trgovine i investicijama u Centralnu i Istočnu Evropu, prilikom Wenove posjete kraljevskom gradu Krakowu.
