Museum commemorates Luxembourg Shoah victims
A German museum is holding an exhibition marking the history of Jews in Luxembourg and in the nearby Trier region of western Germany.
The exhibition has opened in the regional museum of Bitburg and addresses the struggle for survival of some 500 Jews from Luxembourg and the Trier region during the Shoah.
Most of these Jews were deported to the Lodz ghetto before being sent to the death camps. Only 15 survived.
