U.S. diplomatic missions restrict employees’ travel in Israel

JERUSALEM (JTA) — American diplomats in Israel ordered employees of the Tel Aviv embassy and Jerusalem consulate to refrain from using shared taxis known as sheruts. The restriction announced on Tuesday is in addition to the longstanding prohibition on using public buses or waiting at bus terminals. The prohibition on using sheruts follows a Dec. 22 attack on a bus in Tel Aviv and will remain in effect for the next two weeks, the diplomatic missions said in identical statements.
Američka diplomacija je odredila zaposlenicima u Američkoj ambasadi u Tel-Avivu da ne upotrebljavaju "zajedničke" taksije ( Sherut). To je objavljeno u utorak , uz raniju zabranu US diplomatima upotrebe javnih autobusa ili čekanja na autobusnim terminalima. Zabrana je uslijedila nakon napada ( 22. prosinca) na autobus u Tel-Avivu i biti će na snazi slijedeća dva tjedna.
