The first National Forum against Antisemitism was held in Vienna with 80 high-ranking representatives of the federal government, civil society and Jewish communities.
“In the fight against antisemitism, everyone is called upon. The increase in anti-Semitic incidents last year unfortunately shows us that antisemitism is still at the centre of our society. We therefore need a society-wide approach in the fight against antisemitism,” said the initiator of the National Forum against Antisemitism, Federal Minister for the EU and the constitution, Karoline Edtstadler.
The
forum, which will meet annually from now on, is composed of representatives of
the federal government, the provinces, the municipalities, the social partners,
academia, the religious communities, Jewish museums and civil society.

Forum, koji će se od sada sastajati jednom godišnje, sastoji se od predstavnika savezne vlade, pokrajina, općina, socijalnih partnera, akademske zajednice, vjerskih zajednica, židovskih muzeja i civilnog društva.
